About Us
Our parish was established in 1976 to minister to the Greek Orthodox Christians of the North Shore. Until 1981 the parish held services in the facilities of the Methodist Church of Glen Cove. In 1981 the community moved to Glen Cove, which served as our home until 2005, when we moved to our current facility in Brookville.
Our founding pastor, Fr. Emmanuel Gratsias, led our parish from its inception until October of 2007 when he fell asleep in the Lord.
The parish is home to about 300 families, with a Church School enrollment of 100+ children. Eleven organizations serve various religious, philanthropic, educational and cultural needs. The community continues to grow each year and there is a comparable increase in the youth.
We welcome you as a friend of our community. Please join us in worship, in fellowship, and in stewardship. This site attempts to highlight a few of the ways in which you can participate.
